SCALE MASH 155 NF GRADE, is a specially designed Scale Softener with latest technology to soften, Silica (SiO2), along with calcium – (CaO) & other scale forming contents which are very hard and on high side.

SCALE MASH – 155 NF GRADE works well because of the following actions.

SCP - 9009 (Colour Precipitant/ Decolourising Chemical)

SCP–9009 is an effective economical and eco friendly colour precipitant/decolouriser. It is a specially formulated blend of proprietary ingredients, which can be, used as a decolourising agent for clarification of juices, syrup and refinery liquors. This synergistic blend gives excellent performance in obtaining better juice clarification, which will finally lead to improved colour of the sugar crystals.

The colour attributed to sugar juice comes out of many complex organic reactions. Basically colour is resultant of oxidation and polymerisation of QUINONES &
MELAMINS. SCP – 9009 directly reacts and interferes with these complex reactions acts as a barrier. The colouring reactant forms complexes with the product and settles down leaving clear juice as the supernatant liquid.

DOSE :- 1. 10-15 PPM on cane crushed
2. 100-150 PPM on syrup solids

SCP – 9009 can be added in Sulphited juice, Syrup(SCS) & Melt after suitable dilution with water (1:20 Hot water – 600 – 800 C). Dosage will very considerably depending on the intensity of colour and quality of the juice syrup or liquor.

HIE FLOC - 924 (FLOCCULANT FOR SUGAR SYRUP CLARIFICATION)

HIE FLOC 924 is a high molecular weight cationic flocculant in a highly active powder form. The product finds usage in many types to clarification applications, including clarifiers thickeners, vacuum filters and lime softners. The product often works at very low dosages. Process systems benefiting from HIE FLOC 924 also includes cane syrup clarifiers. The use of jar tests helps to establish correct dosage levels.

HIE FLOC 924 may be prepared in a 1% stock solution of 12-13 ppm on solids. The use of an eductor is highly recommended to disperse the product into a partially filled chemical preparation tank. Use only low shear mixing as high speeds tend to degrade the product. After complete mixing, the product should be further diluted to maximum working concentration of 0.1%. Use of chemical metering pumps made of standard materials of construction, including PVC, polyethylene or stainless steel is highly recommended.

HIE FLOC - 927 (FLOCCULANT) (ANIONIC ACRYLAMIDE BASED POLYMER)

HIE FLOC – 927 consists of high molecular weight anionic polymer. It is used to increase the efficiency of settling, clarification, filtration & centrifugation operations. It accelerates settling of suspended colloidal impurities & produces a mud cake having the proper density, which assure good clarification. HIE FLOC – 927 is in compliance with FDA regulations.

HIE FLOC – 927 may be fed into the vortex of the stirred tank. Eductor may be used for efficient dispersion of polymer. Paddle stirrers operating at 30 to 60 rpm is recommended for dissolution. Use filtered water, free from suspended solids to prepare stock solution of 0.2 to 0.5% of concentration. Prepare feed solution by diluting stock solution about ten times directly or on-line diluting. Water may be heated to 500C to accelerate the dissolution.

CHEM PHOS - 405 (PHOSPHORIC ACID REPLACEMENT ADDITIVE)

CHEM PHOS-405 is an effective economical and eco friendly
phosphoric replacement additive for sugar processing. The product is
a specially formulated blend of proprietary ingredients, which can be, used as a replacement to phosphoric acid for clarification of juices
and refinery liquors. This synergistic blend gives excellent performance in obtaining better juice clarification, which will finally lead to improved colour of the sugar crystals.The product contains
good complexing agent and a decolurising agent. Due to the presence
of terpolymer blend the scaling tendency of calcium and magnesium salts and silica scale formation also will get reduced effectively.

BIOQUAT 9005 (QUATERNARY AMMOPNIUM COMPOUND)

BIOQUAT -9005 liquid is highly effective, broad spectrum, synergistic,
mixture of tetra-alkyl and tri-alkyl quaternary constituents. The unique composition of BIOCIDE represents a new state of the art in effectiveness against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria, as well as activity against fungi. The results is that unusually low dosage levels of BIOCIDE are required to maintain control.

Since BIOCIDE is so highly concentrated, it should be diluted prior to use at a
ratio of one part BIOCIDE to 10 part water. The product is quite soluble in
water. Use a chemical metering pump, if available, to feed the diluted product at
a dosage rate of 4 to 6 ppm based on cane ground. The feed point is in last mill
juice to achieve maximum sanitization. Pump can be made standard materials of
construction.

BIOCRAB-9000 Sodium N-Dimethyl Dithio Carbamate (Diothiocarbamate based biocide)

Diothiocarbamate based microbiocide specially formulated for use in sugar mills and is very effective in controlling microorganism found in sugar cane mills.

– Controls microbial growth BIOCRAB-9000 is very effective against many bacteria and fungi found in sugar mills including troublesome leuconostoc mesenteriodes, yeasts, fungi and acid forming bacilli.

– Controls inversions – BIOCRAB-9000 minimises microbial inversion of sugar ,

BIONZYME - 902 - SUGAR ENZYMES (Amylase For The Sugar Cane)

BIONZYME – 902 is a high temperature starch hydrolyzing endoamylase that randomly hydrolyzes alpha-1,4-glucosidic bonds to reduce the viscosity of gelatinized starch, producing soluble dextrins and oligosaccharides.

 

BIONZYME – 902 is a unique innovation which overall improves the process parameters of sugar manufacturing process. BIONZYME – 902 does not compete with other chemicals, but, is used when starch levels in cane sugar are very high. Chemicals such as acids cannot be used, as they would cause inversion of sugar.

 

  • Clear solutions can be produced if starch levels are low.
  • Filtration rates in the mills also improve and this can indirectly lead to yield improvements.
  • Starch present in raw-sugar hinders crystallization; forming irregular size, shape and yielding losses at the refinery. BIONZYME – 902 assists in better refinement of raw sugar into crystals by hydrolyzing starch.

BIONZYME - 905 - Dextranase For The Sugar Cane (Enzyme For Dextran)

BIONZYME – 905 enzyme is an endo-dextranase capable of randomly hydrolyzing the interior alpha-1,6-glucosidic linkages of dextran and its degradation products.

 

BIONZYME – 905 is scientifically designed and biotechnology based product, obtained by the controlled fermentation of Chaetomium erraticumvar. BIONZYME – 905 product’s optimum pH is appropriate for application to mixed juice, high thermal stability and do not effect on invertase activity.

 

BIONZYME- 905 rapidly reduces the viscosity of dextran solutions, BIONZYME – 905 Prolonged hydrolysis results in the formation of glucose and lower levels of isomaltose and isomaltotriose.

BIO-DG-NZYME-903 is a unique solution which helps in storage of Molasses. It controls contamination, maintains the pH, controls TRS loss by maintaining it over a period of time.
 
BIO-DG-NZYME-903 acts upon the cell wall of the unwanted micro- organism, thereby destroying their cell wall and hence destroying the microorganisms.

20 gm/MT of molasses. Dosing is one time every month. (Molasses temperature should be maintained at 38° 40°C).

The product is non carcinogenic and is perfectly safe to handle. However prolonged contact is not advised as this may irritate skin, eyes and other mucous membranes. Inhalation of enzyme dust and mist should be avoided. In case of contact with eyes or other sensitive organs, rinse with clean water for at least 15 min.

BIO-DG-NZYME-907 should be stored in cool and dry environment. When stored in closed containers at temperatures less than 35 °C it maintains its activity for a period of 6 months. At lower temperatures the stability is increased. In case of extended storage or adverse conditions (higher temperature and humidity) it is advisable to use a higher dosage

BIO – AB – 909 (BIOCIDE- For Reduction In Microbial Contamination)

BIO-AB-909 is one which controls harmful or unwanted organisms through chemical or biological means. Biocides are used by workers in a wide variety of industries to control organisms such as viruses,

bacteria & fungi.

The major source of bacterial contamination in fermentation is molasses. Other sources are air and water. The dead pockets in fermentation plant harbor very potent bacterial contaminants. The lactic acid bacteria coming from molasses remains more active than other bacteria. These bacteria consume sugars and produces organic acids which further contribute to the volatile acidity in fermented wash. Lactic acid bacteria are fastidious and require various growth factors for their growth and multiplication. Yeast while growing also produces various growth factors which are consumed by the bacterial contaminants. It is also seen that the bacteria grow on the cell wall of yeast which further leads to the abnormal flocculation of yeast. The bacterial count in fermented wash up to 10 exp 6 to 10 exp 7 cfu/ml is found to be normal.

 

Bacterial contamination is a major problem affecting the efficient fermentation of sugary or starchy raw materials in the production of alcohol. According to experts, more than 500 different bacteria have been isolated and identified to be present at different stages of the alcohol production process.

 

Lactic acid bacteria, Lactobacillus and Leuconostoc, are common contaminants of yeast alcoholic fermentation causing frequent process problems. Ethyl Alcohol in India is commonly produced by batch or continuous fermentation process of sugar cane molasses by Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Biocides currently used in industrial fuel alcoholic fermentation usually effective against growth of bacterial

contaminants, but could affect yeast at similar concentration.
